I live in the mission and Taqueria Cancun is my go-to for bean and cheese burritos specifically but I can’t claim to have tried them all. Please report back on your findings lol
ooo I havent been to cancun in a long time! Maybe that will be my stop this week! I am honestly just delighted doing this, its fun to be a tourist in the place you live.
If you're ever in Oakland and in need of a bean and cheese burrito, I am kind of obsessed with the kid burrito at Dona. It also has rice, but I love it's slightly smaller size, simple but perfect ingredients, and it's just the perfect vehicle for hot sauce (they have housemade, but I love Tapatío too). Dona is dangerously close to my apartment (I can smell them making tortillas from here), and these burritos have become my go-to for I Can't Even days, especially because they come in foil no matter if you're eating in or out, so I pick them up to go without fighting with myself about packaging waste.
ANYWAY. Consider me subscribed to the burrito odyssey. ✨
Uhh, the illustration turned out so good from the last time you showed it in the video it’s amazing to see how it evolved.
Also, it’s really beautiful to see people making clothes for themselves. It feels like it allows us to create more thoughtful pieces things we actually want to hold on to maybe because we choose the materials and pour ourselves into the process.

Speaking of fun book covers, I’ve recently rediscovered the 90’s edition of Nancy Drew paperbacks and the cover art is really fun!!
ooo I need a pic!! I will do some research and see if I can find some!
I don’t know how (if it’s even possible) to add a pic in the comment 🤓 so I’ll email you!
